At twenty-five, I knew sickness by name. Pneumonia, respiratory infections — they were all too familiar. But in 2010, everything changed. A benign carcinoid tumor was found in my left lung.
The surgery that followed didn’t just remove part of my body — it removed my old way of living. I made a vow to myself. If I was going to live, I would truly live. Not survive — but thrive.I began to rebuild from the inside out. Cleaner foods. Purposeful movement. Rest that restored not just my body, but my spirit. Forgiveness that freed me.
